Policies and Procedures cont...

 

Persons who are paying the fees on behalf of lodger are encouraged to read and understand the terms of the agreement, along with the policies and procedures. Such persons should understand that they are powerless over the lodger's behavior and that the lodger's actions can result in the lodger's discharge from the home and loss of prepaid lodging fees. 

Lodger understands that DalMont Phoenix Foundation will notify lodger of any and all payments made by third party(s) on the lodger's behalf.

All inquiries, questions and concerns must go through DalMont Phoenix Foundation except in life-threatening emergencies when the manager cannot be reached. 

In the event that DalMont Phoenix Foundation removes the lodger for a violation of the policies and procedures, the lodging fee will be forfeited. 

Terms of the length of stay for lodger will be at the discretion of the lodger and DalMont Phoenix Foundation. 

Lodgers should always ask a DalMont Phoenix Foundation representative for clarification or explanation if the lodger does not understand a policy or procedure. However, DalMont Phoenix Foundation representatives are not required to provide the reason or justification underlying any policy or procedure. 

Any inconsistencies will be resolved solely by DalMont Phoenix Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion. 

DalMont Phoenix Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations. All staff will be provided with access and expected to learn training regarding populations including but not limited to LGBTQ+, and Latinx. 

Lodgers will obtain a sponsor within 3 weeks of intake at DalMont Phoenix Foundation. Your sponsor’s contact info, and phone number will be given to DalMont Phoenix Foundation. If you are having issues getting a sponsor, please bring it to the staff’s attention. 

All rooms may be subject to random inspection at any given time. 

Door lock code must not be given to anyone. No exceptions. 

Lock box code must not be given to anyone. No exceptions. 

Lock box code must never be changed. If there are any issues let DalMont Phoenix Foundation know immediately. 

All maintenance, adjustments, or changes to any of DalMont Phoenix Foundation’s property is to be done only by DalMont Phoenix Foundation. Lodgers are to notify DalMont Phoenix Foundation for any and all needed maintenance, adjustments or changes. 

All lodgers must sign in and sign out any time they leave DalMont Phoenix Foundation. 

All lodgers must participate in morning meditation and prayer daily, signing off on a sheet verifying that it has been done. 

All lodgers must participate in nightly inventory checking next to their name when completing, verifying that it has been done.

Tampering in any way with security cameras will not be tolerated and will result in termination of lodger. Tampering will be defined as, but not limited to, moving, covering, adjusting, or unplugging the camera system. 

Lodgers must follow phase requirements that lodger is placed in. Phasing will be evaluated weekly for lodgers at house meetings every Sunday. See PHASE SYSTEM page for explanations. 

All lodgers will be allowed up to 2 write-ups. On the 3rd write-up, lodger will be terminated from DalMont Phoenix Foundation. However, after 30 days from each write-up, that write-up will be removed from the lodger's record. 

Any write-up that occurs with a lodger will result in a phasing drop of the lodger. The time frame of this phasing drop will be determined by DalMont Phoenix Foundation. If a lodger is in phase one and a write-up occurs, the lodger will remain in phase one for an extended time that will be determined by DalMont Phoenix Foundation. 

All sponsors of lodgers must be approved from DalMont Phoenix Foundation, and not a current lodger of any DalMont Phoenix Foundation houses. 

Lodger understands quiet times are Sunday–Thursday by 10:00 p.m. and Friday–Saturday by 12:00 a.m. 

All lodgers must maintain proper hygiene, including daily showers, brushing teeth daily, and use of deodorant daily. 

All lodgers who are receiving long-term lodging fee assistance will open a savings account no longer than 2 weeks after receiving assistance. This savings account must be proven to DalMont Phoenix Foundation. Each week the lodger must put a weekly lodging fee amount ($150.00) into the savings account and provide proof to DalMont Phoenix Foundation that this was done. This savings account balance must not be used in any way until the lodger is no longer residing at DalMont Phoenix Foundation. 

If a lodger has a vehicle, the lodger must have everything up to date for registration of the vehicle, valid driver’s licenses, and proof of insurance. Lodger must provide DalMont Phoenix Foundation copies of these before the lodger is allowed to have a vehicle on the property. Lodgers must ensure at all times that the vehicle is in proper working condition and doesn’t leak any fluids. 

All DalMont Phoenix Foundation staff, volunteers, and lodgers must undergo a background check. This background check will consist of use of CCAP website to ensure there are no violent crimes or sexual crimes committed past or present of any persons who will be living in, volunteering, or working for DalMont Phoenix Foundation. 

Good Neighbor Policy

All lodgers, staff, and volunteers of DalMont Phoenix Foundation understand the importance of our neighbors. Therefore, all lodgers, staff, and volunteers shall share common goals, which include: 

Maintaining a peaceful, safe, and clean neighborhood and community. 

Sharing open and honest communication. 

Helping each other address concerns and solve problems. 

Respecting others and their properties. 

Being an active partner that works to help sustain the overall surroundings and economic environment of the immediate neighborhood. 

Offering public service for the benefit of the neighborhood rooms and community. (Helping neighbors with yard work, including cutting of grass, and snow removal does count towards community service time)

If a neighbor does complain to any lodger, the lodger must give the neighbor’s phone number to the House Director to resolve the issue. Whoever receives this complaint will respond to the matter within a maximum of 24 hours. When a complaint gets addressed from the neighbor, DalMont Phoenix Foundation will bring up the issue at the next house meeting. This will be addressed to ensure all lodgers understand and work together to keep peace and good neighbor conduct in place.
