My Story
January 2022, just 4 years into my recovery from alcohol, I was informed of an acquittance who lost his battle with addiction. After 3 days of a deep depression, it felt like I was kicked in the pants and felt like I had to help those in need of a safe place to live after going through recovery treatment. With the help from my husband and a really small board (to be introduced soon), DalMont Phoenix Foundation came to life, we put together a raffle/ bingo fundraiser with the help of a local church, Union Congregational Church and we started to help. Since then, we have helped several people get into sober living homes, received recovery coach training, and held the first Annual Green Bay Recovery Celebration and Memorial Walk.
How we help. Our purpose is to help give those in recovery a safe, nurturing, and sober place to live after or during treatment. We offer up to $100.00 week for up to 4 weeks, to pay for program fees at accredited sober living homes
Currently we are looking to open our first Recovery Home.
