Welcome to the Dalmont Phoenix Foundation Blog
This is our very first blog post — and it's only fitting that we begin by honoring the heart of our mission: hope, healing, and remembrance.
Founded in memory of those we’ve lost to substance use and in support of those still fighting, the Dalmont Phoenix Foundation exists to raise awareness, provide resources, and build a community that stands strong in the face of addiction. Like the phoenix, we believe in the power of rising from the ashes — again and again — no matter how many times it takes.
Join Us: The 3rd Annual Recovery Awareness and Memorial Walk — a day to remember, reflect, and rally around the cause of recovery. This walk is more than just a path we take through our community; it’s a powerful journey we take together — toward understanding, healing, and unity.
Co-Hosted by the Mandolin Foundation and Dalmont Phoenix Foundation
We’re proud to announce that this year’s Third Annual Recovery Awareness and Memorial Walk is being co-hosted by the Mandolin Foundation and the Dalmont Phoenix Foundation — two organizations committed to advocacy, education, and healing in the face of substance use disorder.
Together, we are uniting our communities for a day of remembrance, recovery, and resilience.
What to Expect:
Lantern release – Add a personal message to a floating lantern in remembrance of a lost loved one.
Live Speakers & Testimonials – Hear from survivors, family members, and recovery advocates.
Community Resources – Connect with local treatment centers, support groups, and mental health organizations.
Walk of Hope – A symbolic walk through Leight Park, spreading awareness and support.
Whether you’ve personally been affected by addiction, are in recovery, have lost someone you love, or simply believe in breaking the stigma — this event is for you.
Why This Walk Matters
Recovery isn’t a straight line. It’s messy, brave, painful, and beautiful. This walk gives us a chance to remind those struggling that they are not alone — that behind every statistic is a face, a name, a family, a story.
We walk for:
Those we’ve lost.
Those still fighting.
Families who carry both grief and hope.
The belief that recovery is possible — and worth fighting for.
Be Part of the Movement
We invite you to walk with us. Bring your friends, your family, your stories. Bring your pain, your hope, your voice. The Dalmont Phoenix Foundation is just getting started — and we’d be honored to have you be part of this rising.
🧡 Together, we remember. Together, we recover. Together, we rise.
